Easter Sale

Spring Friends Easter Card

Hi everyone, I took a week off from my blog to take care of some other projects that were on my plate.  I have been creating, but not taking the time to blog and show them.  They will appear very soon, so be on the lookout!

Today's post is showcasing again, the Spring Friends digital stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.  This has been, by far, one of my favorite sets this season.  Isn't she adorable?
I printed the bunny and flowers, then cut them out with my ScanNCut.  I did some very simple copic coloring on all the images.  I used watercolor paper for the background and just sponged on some regular Distress Inks in Broken China and Twisted Citron, then spritzed with water.  I used the Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies to cute out both the watercolor panel and Neenah Solar White for the outer frame.  Adhered both to standard A2 top folding card.  I popped up the bunny with foam tape, as well as, the yellow flower.  The purple and pink flower were glued on.  I used the Happy Sentiments stamp set to create my sentiment, then added a few Shimmer Sequins to finish off the card.

There's No Bunny Like You!

This was such a fun card to make!  I used the "No Bunny Like You" digital stamp from Craftin Desert Divas and printed the bunny on Neenah Solar White.

I created a stencil by cutting some random slopes on a piece of scrap paper to resemble clouds.  I used tumbled glass distress ink to carefully sponge on the clouds around the bunny.  I then took a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and inked on some gathered twigs distress ink then sprinkled with water and lightly dried it up with a paper towel.  While still a bit damp, I repeated with the gathered twigs a couple more times to achieve the spotted texture.  When totally dry, I cut out the "dirt" using the Garden Border Dies.  I colored both the bunny and the carrots with my Copic Markers.  Cut out all the panels with the Fancy Frames Dies, then adhered everything to a standard A2, side folding card.

Inchin' by to say Hi!

Hello everyone, I thought I would share this simple cards using the Craftin Desert Divas, Spring Friends digital stamp set.  I selected the little worm and the tulips.  Duplicated both several times, then lined them up until I was pleased with the layout.  I then printed on my inkjet printer and colored all of the images with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

I cut out the panel with the Fancy Frame dies, and matted with some Perfectly Plaid Rainbow yardstick in purple.  Added a few Nuvo Jewell Drops in Limoncello.  All the supplies are listed below.  Thanks for stopping by.

Coffee and Friends!

Coffee and Friends are always the perfect blend!  I paired up the Bunny Coffee Cup digi with the Chick Coffee Cup digi to create this sweet little card for the Craftin Desert Divas Monthly Challenge.

I combined the images with my computer, then printed as one image.  I used both my Prismacolor colored pencils and Polychromos colored pencils to color the image and cut it out with my scanncut machine.

To create the background, I used the Nested Heart dies to cut a mask and placed on a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock.  I used Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to sponge on the ink, then spritzed with water.  I cut out the panel using the Fancy Frame Die (Can you tell I love this particular die?) and sponged the edges with regular distress ink in Antique Linen.  I printed the sentiment, then cut it out using the Flag Banner die, then added a few Sweet Pea sequins to embellish.  Added a little highlight to both their noses and there you have it; Coffee and Friends!

Day 2 of the Craftin Desert Divas March Release

Here we are at Day 2 of the CDD March Release sneak peeks.

Once again, I have 2 Projects to share... First up are these cute little tags using the new Tag It Die

I die cut each tag and for two of them, I used the Sorted Shapes 2 Stencil with Distress Oxides (all listed below) and on the first tag, I just used Distress Oxide and spritzed with water.  I also used the new Flower Border Die on the first tag.  All of the images are from the new Spring Friends Digital set that will be available March 9.  I embellished with a few sequins from 3 different sequin mixes.  Those too, are listed below.  The first sentiment I hand lettered, while the middle and last came from the Happy Sentiments Stamp Set and the Sweetest Birthday Stamp Set.

For card #2, I paired the new Bright Horizons Stencil with the Lamb With Cross Digital Image.

I used a pencil to very lightly trace the stencil onto a piece of Neenah 80 lb. card stock.  I then used a few copic markers to color in the sun and the clouds.  I printed the image and colored with a few copics as well, then highlighted with a white gel pen.  I used the Fancy Frame Dies to cut out the panel and used my ScanNCut to cut out the lamb.  I added a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to embellish!

March Sneak Peek Week / Craftin Desert Divas

Hi everyone, it's March Sneak Peek Week over at Craftin Desert Divas.  Come join all the excitement over in our FB Group.

Today we are showcasing the upcoming new Blooming Tree Stencil, the Flower Border Die, Let's Do Lunch Stamp Set, and the Spring Friends Digital Stamp Set.

Here is my first card using the Blooming Tree Stencil, along with the Spring Friends Digital Stamp Set and I also included a previously released digi, Easter Bunny.

I printed both digital stamps on Neenah Solar White, then I very lightly traced the Blooming Tree Stencil with a pencil.  I colored everything in with Copic markers, used a Comic Multi-Liner to add the black lines around the trees and leaves.  I cut out the panel with the Fancy Frames die, as well as the white mat.  The pink patterned paper was from my stash which I cut to the same size as the card base.  I added a few white highlights with a white gel pen and added a little white pom pom to the white bunny.

For card # 2, I sponged on some Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock, spritzed with a little water and blotted up.  When dry, I ran it through my die cutting machine using the Flower Border Die.  I used the two additional Flowers included in the die set, to cut flowers from yellow and purple card stock.  I took another piece of Bristol and sponged on some Broken China Distress Oxide and spritzed it to create the sky.  I used the Crazy Stitched Frame dies to cut out the sky panel and to cut down the Flower Border.  I used the Stitched Alpha dies to cut out the "HI" which I colored with Copic markers to match.  I printed and colored, using Prismacolor Colored Pencils,  one of the Bunnies and the Worm from the Spring Friends Digital Stamp Set, then cut them out with my ScanNCut.  I added some Glossy Accents to the "HI" and to the center of the flowers and Shimmer Sequins.
