Vintage Birthday Card - Mix and Match

I love to mix and match various company stamps and supplies to make a card; flowers from one and sentiments from another.  Thus, my Vintage Birthday Card for Mom.  I love vintage and Mom loves flowers so I came up with this card to celebrate her special day on Friday.

I really used minimal supplies to make the card other than the normal adhesives, stamp positioning tools or acrylic blocks.

Enjoy the video process and all of the supplies I used are listed below.

I'm Back!.....And inspired by Penny Black

Hi everyone!  I'm Back!  I had to break away from my crafting, blog, youtube channel, FB page, etc...for a few months.  This spring and summer season began with a couple of precious family members involved in totally separate and independent accidents which required hospitalization, surgery, extensive healing periods, and therapy.  So dear hubby and I have had to step up and do as much as we could to help in their daily lives and chores.  I'm pleased to say that one patient is almost completely back to his normal lifestyle and the other patient is healing nicely, but will need an additional surgery.  With that said, I've decided to try and get back to my card making, even if just one card a week.

My story, along with a few Penny Black stamps were the inspiration for this card.  "Hope Shines Through", even in those challenging times and feel like we just can't do anymore.

I used Canson XL Watercolor paper with mini distress ink pads and distress reinkers to paint the daisies.  Finished off the edges by blending on vintage photo and added a few Nuvo crystal drops.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon!!
