Abstract Background with Dragonfly Dreams and You Matter Stamp Sets

There are two critters in this world that are my absolute favorites; a Kitty and a Dragonfly.  The love of Dragonflies started years ago when a group of us were on the way back home from the beach.  We stopped for a bite to eat and this huge dragonfly with a wing span approximately 8 inches wide, landed on the back of my pant leg.  It was the largest dragonfly I'd ever seen.  I tried to shoo it away while climbing back in my 4Runner, but it refused to leave.  I decided then there was something special about that moment.

Stampin' Up! just released the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set the beginning of January and I knew I had to have it.  This is my first project with the set.

I wanted to make an abstract/artsy background in which to apply my Dragonfly.  I decided to do a little ink smooshing with distress inks then used a few stamps in the Kinda Eclectic set from Stampin' Up!.  I'm not  affiliated with Stampin' Up!, but have left a link below to a demonstrator  friend of mine.

I used the You Matter stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for the sentiment.  Hope you enjoy the process in the video below.  As always, all the supplies are listed below the video if interested.

Wow, I seriously love this card. Your videos are so calm and you do a great job at explaining how you've done things.
